Growing pothos or other houseplants out of my aquariums is one of my favorite ways to beautify my tanks while also making the water healthier and cleaner. One major issue with many methods of growing plants this way, though, is their roots. They’ll look great for a few months until their roots take over half of the entire tank, blocking out the light for your aquatic plants and making that part of the tank nearly unusable.
We designed The Propogation Tube with this in mind- an elegant solution to allow houseplants to easily grow in an aquarium without letting roots get out of control. The simple, beautiful design allows roots to grow through the holes, but keeps them enclosed and easy to trim if necessary. The tube is designed to be perfect for Pothos or Philodendron, but other plants such as Monstera, Peace Lillies, etc are perfect for it too.
The Propogation Tube comes in 3 sizes. Small fits perfectly on smaller rimmed tanks up to 40 gallons. Large fits on rimmed tanks larger than 40 gallons. And the Rimless size which features a smart clamp that will fit over any thickness of glass without a rim.
The Propogation Tube is 3D-Printed in durable PETG plastic which won’t become brittle or leech chemicals into your aquarium water.
