The HexaLink Planter includes a strong and buoyant hexagon that will effortlessly magnetize to other HexaLink products or any metal objects, and a planting tube that fits inside of it.
For buoyancy’s sake, we recommend sticking with smaller plants and just placing the stem directly into the tube. Rocks/balls in the tube or large plants could cause the planter to sink.
HexaLink hexagons are about 100mm (4”) wide and printed in durable PETG plastic, unlike many floating corrals printed in PLA that can break down in the water. The embedded magnets are stainless steel and proven to be rust-free and safe for aquatic life. The magnets are enclosed within the plastic, so they’re never even exposed to the water.
