Our new aquarium cave allows you to not only watch your fish and livestock hide and enjoy an underground cave, but the Crypt Cave is specifically designed for planted aquariums. Simply plant a Cryptocoryne, Amazon Sword, or any other sort of plant in the nook above the Crypt Cave and watch in awe as the roots reach down through the cave. Watch your plant’s roots grow and watch your fish play around in the roots, all while your plant roots are exposed to extra mulm and nutrients ensuring it gets the best growth possible.
NOTE: Live plants are not included, just the cave!
To use the Crypt Cave, simply dig a hole to almost the bottom of your tank, and place the cave against the glass, then cover it with as much substrate as you can. Finally, just push any plant into the substrate above the cave. In a week or two, you’ll notice the plant growing roots down through the cave and into the opening!
