I’m very excited to release our newest product, AquaWick! This clever planter clips right onto the center brace of a larger aquarium, and dangles wicks down into the water to automatically water the planter. As a result, AquaWick provides you an extremely easy way to grow almost any plant, with automatic watering and fertilizing from your aquarium and strong light from your existing aquarium light. Please read on to be sure AquaWick will fit your setup, and stay tuned because we’ll have more options available soon!
AquaWick includes an efficient wick that will gently absorb water from the top of the aquarium and keep your plants watered just enough, without overwatering or underwatering. If your aquarium is sufficiently fertilized, it will also provide fertilizer to the plants.
The AquaWick Brace Planter fits any aquarium with a 68mm (2.7 inch) wide brace. It was designed and tested with Aqueon 60g and 75g aquariums. It will not fit an Aqueon 55g or smaller aquarium, and this particular model does require an aquarium with a brace to snap onto. The planter is about 3” tall, so you’ll need to ensure your light is mounted at least 6” above the aquarium for optimal growth.
Includes one AquaWick planter, a wick, and a pamphlet with a QR code for instructions. No dirt or plants/seeds are included.
While you can grow any plant in AquaWick, we do not encourage you to consume anything you grow due to chemicals that may be added to an aquarium.
