This is a miniature version of Rotala Macandra which gets extremely red and stays relatively short and dense. It’s perfect for a foreground/midground red plant and looks absolutely spectacular when grown with high lighting. This plant is similar to Rotala Macandra Butterfly, but has smaller leaves than butterfly and more straight leaves.

This product will include 3 to 4 stems of Rotala Macandra Mini Type 4. They take a bit of time to start growing, but once they do they grow very quickly and bushy.

Midground plant. Can grow in the background but grows slower than other rotalas.

HIGH TECH PLANT - Absolutely NEEDS high lighting and won’t even turn red unless it has strong lighting and red spectrum. Also needs CO2, but you won’t get any color without a strong light. Please ask us for light recommendations!
