Shrimpy Stone - The Algae Buffet for Shrimp

$6.99

The Shrimpy Stone is a pretty little round river stone with a blend of different types of algae, including the same algae that is used in Marimo Moss balls (but fear not, it’s not marimo moss and doesn’t come with infestations). It’s a perfect little buffet for your shrimp and they’ll be all over it eating the algae, biofilm, and bits it catches from the current. I even like to sprinkle fish food in it to encourage them to dig through it and give my shrimp some much needed enrichment.

The algae buffet does not get eaten fast enough for it to ever go away, and it will very slowly grow over time. It also helps filter your water and helps add oxygen to your tank too.

This is the perfect addition to any shrimp tank!
